He acts as a coroner, performs forensic examinations and autopsies, writes reports on acts of violence. He is a committed observer of past misfortunes, sees their consequences and discovers the truth. Constant exposure to death, crime, harm and suffering can change perceptions of the world and people. His deceased patients demand justice, so he represents them in the world of the living. The dead live not only in the memory of their loved ones.
